Threads Text Formatter: Bold, Italic & More
Make bold, italic, monospace and other styled text you can paste into a Threads post, bio or reply. Free and instant.
Styled letters are special Unicode characters, so screen readers may read them letter by letter. Use them for a word or a heading, not whole posts.

How styled text works on Threads
Threads posts don't have a bold button. These styles use look-alike characters from the Unicode standard, so they show up as bold, italic or monospace anywhere you paste them: posts, replies and your bio.
Use it sparingly
- Style a word or a heading, not a whole post. It's harder to read in bulk.
- Screen readers may read styled letters one by one, or skip them, so keep important information in plain text.
- Styled words may not match in search, so keep keywords plain.
